When I open a video file in Media player Classic I get the following error rapoort:Īudio: IEEE Float 48000Hz stereo 3072kbps And I just noticed that my device manager is blank, this is a rather new development, because earlier today I could open my device manager and see all me devices no problem. I do not know if this is related, but explorer.exe doesn't start at boot, when I am powering up my computer I am left with a blank screen ( starting explorer manually through task manager). I tried looking into my drivers, but they all seem to be working fine and dandy. Everything was running smooth yesterday but this morning all the sound on my pc has been disabled. So how does the external switching work? I don't get it.I am new on this board but I have a problem with the sound on my PC, running windows 7. So I solved it by opening the loop of wah via IA button and then simply move pedal without using external switch of Mission. The question is: why should the external switch without even touching send an OFF message, why isn't it quiet until I hit it? After removing this external switch from program of MFC, the message disappeared. The message was always the last so it kept shutting the loop #1 off. But somehow this external switch is sending this message (BF 50 00 16 - number 50 is hexadecimal 80, which is CC for loop#1, 00 is value to OFF and 16 is MIDI Channel). So it waits for a switch in pedal to open loop and begin to wahwah. I prepared WAH IA switch (which calls WAH patch in Mobius via PC message) but without opening loop #1. The idea was to assign loop #1 to this global external switch of Mission and then to control Wah in Mobius with pedal. here I am again and now I know what caused the problem but I have no idea why. Yes - I tried disabling LINK or Send w/preset, but problem persists. I tried to monitor MIDI data flow with MIDI-OX and I realized upon loading preset with chorus on loop #1 that MFC's last message is CC on CH16 (GCX) with value 00 (CC is some hexadecimal I assume) so it seems MFC is turning loop OFF. Strange thing, because I don't see any difference between presets in MFC editor. All other loops works just fine, even Mobius's post effects in loop #4 are correct. I go back to load preset, loop blinks and then it's off. I step on repeatedly IA switch (just to turn LED off and on), suddenly the loop is active. preset: Clean + CHORUS PRE it's loaded only with IntCC for VHT preamp and IA with Chorus is active.Īppropriate loop #1 blinks for a fraction of a second and then it's OFF. Presets with all but Mobius work great, again - loops opening. In sense of IA all seems to work great - GCX opens loops, Mobius changes patches, Gizmo switches channels. Modulation IAs switches are set to open GCX's appropriate loop (#1 or #4) and send PC to tell Mobius the required patch. Mobius's IA are arranged in LINK groups to have just one active. Loop #3 - Preamp of VHT Pittbull 50/ST (turned ON all the time via single IntCC enabled in every preset) MFC - 7pin MIDI phantom from RJM - Strymon Mobius - 3 pin MIDI cable to GCX. today I got the last chain to my rig - GCX switcher so I finally made all the connections and fired it up with already prepared songs in MFC. Note: Ensure you save any open files before proceeding, as the following steps restart the computer. I'd like to ask you a favor because I'm completely stuck, frustrated.ĭuring last months I decided to go completely MIDI so after some research I bought MFC controller, Voodoo Lab GCX audio switcher and RJM amp gizmo. It can be difficult or even not possible to get into the BIOS setup by pressing 'F2' key during computer startup, at the Dell start screen. Hello everyone at Fractal audio community,
